CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

All Levels DONATION Flow
85 minutes of movement with a nice, long savasana at the end. Come ready to move, flow and sweat. Featuring a fun contemporary music mix. Use your Maha series or make a donation.

All Levels
A mixed-level class taught in a flow style with suggested options so all students can individualize their practice needs as they transition in and out of poses.

Level 1 & 2
A flowing pace to the class, while still providing instruction and attention to detail. Recommended for beginners wishing to challenge themselves a little more.

Level 2 & 3
More vigorous and challenging classes taught in a flow-style, inter-linking poses through a series of movements. Emphasis placed on the general rhythm of the class with styles that vary from teacher to teacher.

Level 2 & 3 +
A vigorous and challenging class with emphasis on power and athleticism. An opportunity to have a personal training/strength workout in the yoga studio. Class ends with opening floor poses and a relaxing savasana.

Niyama Hot Yoga
Class is taught heated to 95-98 degrees and is suitable for first-time students as well as long-time practitioners. Begins with a one-hour slow warm-up of standing poses. There is an emphasis on core strength, twisting, standing forward folds and balance. After the first hour, the focus shifts to front body opening through a series of gentle, chest-expanding back-bends. During the final 15 minutes, quiet stretching is combined with relaxation breathing. Sequencing of each class is the same. Strength, stamina, and flexibility are built as students detoxify through sweating. There are no arm balances, inversions, push-ups or "down-dog" during this class.
